Graduate Student Career Development Services

On-Campus Presentations and Interviews: Our team of career development professionals encourages employers to conduct on-campus presentations and interviews. These provide an excellent opportunity for employers to meet our students and for students to learn about a variety of positions.

Job, Internship and Co-op Listings: We are continuously updating our on-line, password-protected employment opportunities, which include domestic and international full and part-time jobs, internships, and co-op positions.

Elliott School Career Week: is a weeklong series of panels covering different professional sectors, exposing current graduate students to various career opportunities. Examples of panels are Technology and Public Policy, Security and Defense, and Consulting. Panels consist of alumni, professors, and professionals currently working in their respective fields.

Elliott School of International Affairs Resume Book: Our office compiles electronic resume books containing the resumes of our students for consideration for internships and permanent employment positions at over 500 public, private and not-for-profit organizations.

Career Advising Services: Enrolled graduate students may schedule individual counseling sessions by stopping by Graduate Student Career Development. Typical sessions include assistance with clarification of career goals, resume review, suggestions of individuals or organizations for networking, advice on job search strategy and assistance with compensation negotiation.
