Study Abroad
Add More International to Your Studies
To excel in your future career, you must possess not only a deep understanding of global and regional issues but also the ability to communicate, negotiate, and lead in a cross-cultural environment. These important characteristics are learned through the combination of academic, professional, and cultural experiences both at home and abroad.
The Elliott School encourages its graduate students to gain those experiences by adding a truly international component to their studies. A study abroad experience will enhance your understanding of varied perspectives on international, global, and regional issues with firsthand observation and study. The Elliott School has created special international exchange programs to encourage graduate students to study at renowned universities abroad for a fall or spring semester. Graduate students can also participate in a variety of summer and other programs. A semi-monthly listserv and other informational events keep students informed of new opportunities all around the world.
