Internships and Employment

If you want to integrate academic study of national security and defense policy with practical employment and internship experiences, there is no better place than the Elliott School. With our strategic location in the nation's capital, you will be situated in the heart of the defense, foreign policy, and intelligence communities. Most of your classes will meet in the late afternoon or early evening, so you can pursue daytime employment or internship opportunities. And contacts you make during an internship can lead to full-time employment after graduation.

Elliott School students have had internships with the Central Intelligence Agency, the U.S. Department of Defense, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the Arms Control Association, Triton Systems Corporation, and the U.S. Department of State.
