Study Abroad Opportunities
Students in the MIPP program have a variety of options for short-term study abroad. Each year, the GW Summer Abroad offers a series of short courses offered for GW credit. In past years, MIPP students have participated in the following GW Summer Abroad programs.
- Central European Politics in Prague and Bratislava
- Politics, Policies, and Lobbying of the European Union in Washington, DC and Brugge, Belgium
- International Human Rights Law, Oxford
- Sustainable Tourism Strategies, locations vary each year
- new programs are announced by GW each December
Because MIPP students participate in an accelerated program and cannot transfer credits without a special petition, any students who wish to attend other graduate study abroad programs for academic credit should meet with the MIPP Program Director and Caroline Donovan White, Director for International Programs and Education early in their studies.
