Master of Arts and Master of Public Health

The Elliott School of International Affairs cooperates with the School of Public Health and Health Services in offering a dual degree program leading to a Master of Public Health in combination with any of the following Master of Arts degrees:

The dual degree program is offered to students who intend to take a field in Global Health in their Master of Arts program and who select the Global Health track in their Master of Public Health program. All Master of Arts programs accept 12 credits of courses from the Global Health track of the Master of Public Health. Other courses (not to exceed 6 credits) may be accepted for both programs if they fit into the requirements or electives of both programs.

A full-time student may be able to complete both degrees within three years, or in two and a half years if courses are taken in summer terms. Students accepted into the dual degree program may complete each degree separately.
