Global Communication

Study Abroad

Students in the Global Communication M.A. program are encouraged to study abroad for a semester, summer, or for other short programs as an integral part of their degree.

The Elliott School has a growing list of International Exchange Partner where students can study to earn up to 10 credits towards the joint M.A. degree. Taking courses at these locations around the globe gives students access to new hundreds of courses in both policy and regional studies and the opportunity to study alongside future leaders from other nations. The majority of institutions have a full curriculum in English.

Students in the Global Communication program can also participate in GW Summer Abroad programs. New programs are announced each December. Students may also participate in other accredited study abroad programs, with the permission of the Program Director.
