European and Eurasian Studies

Core Field

The Core Field provides a broad foundation for understanding the European and Eurasian regions. Students must take 5 courses (15 credits) to complete this field. Students must choose at least two courses from each section (A and B) below. They must choose courses from at least three disciplines (e.g., Economics, Geography, History, International Affairs, Political Science).

Note: Departmental courses in Special Topics and Selected Topics vary from semester to semester. Some of them may count towards the Core Field, with permission of the Program Director. Check the Schedule of Classes each semester for new topics.
