Our graduate programs combine rigorous coursework and professional training to provide students the knowledge and perspectives needed to make a difference in the world. Through our programs students gain expertise in world regions and important contemporary issues — ranging from war to rising levels of resource consumption to the expansion of the global economy to mounting environmental challenges — that will shape the world in decades ahead.

Special Master's Programs:
- Master of International Policy and Practice (MIPP) — a degree program for mid-career professionals that provides academic training, marketable skills, and career-enhancing credentials.
- Master of International Studies (MIS) — enables students enrolled at one of our overseas partner schools to earn a second master's degree from the Elliott School.
- Joint and Dual Degrees — programs of study leading to a Master of Arts and a Juris Doctor in cooperation with the Law School, and a Master of Arts and a Master of Public Health in cooperation with the School of Public Health and Health Services.
