Graduate Certificates
European & Eurasian Studies
The goal of the graduate certificate program is to provide experienced students and professionals with a broad base of knowledge concerning European and Eurasian affairs. In order to achieve this, the graduate certificate curriculum requires a balance between regions and disciplines. Students must take a minimum of eighteen credit hours consisting of six courses. Those six courses must be taken in at least three different disciplines (history, political science, international affairs, etc.). In addition, students must take at least two courses in each regional section: Section A - Western, Central and Eastern Europe; and Section B - Russia and Eurasia). Students may take other courses not on the list of suggested courses with the approval of the director.
