Core Seminar

All M.I.P.P. candidates will participate in the program’s core seminar, IAff 381, Topics in U.S. Foreign Policy

This three-credit seminar, open only to M.I.P.P. candidates, is offered each semester. It features discussions of major issues in U.S. and foreign economic policy and includes guest speakers and site visits to major institutions involved in U.S. foreign policy making. The seminar is taken for a grade of pass/fail and requires no tests or research papers. However, active participation, evident familiarity with the assigned readings, a brief written assignment and an in-class presentation are required.
