Graduate Certificate in East Asian Studies

The graduate certificate in East Asian Studies requires a minimum of eighteen credit hours consisting of six courses. Those six courses must be taken in at least 3 different disciplines. One of the six courses may be a course on comparative politics, economic theory, literature of the region, international business, or other approved elective course.  Students may take other courses not on the list of suggested courses with the approval of the student services.

Prerequisite: Intermediate macro and micro economics or Econ 217 and 218.

Prerequisite: Intermediate macro and micro economics or Econ 217 and 218, and Econ 269 or permission of instructor.
ECON 271 Economy of Japan
Prerequisite: Intermediate macro and micro economics.
