Professor
Robert P. Trost is a professor of economics at The George Washington
University. He holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from
the University of Detroit-Mercy. After serving in the Marine Corps, Dr.
Trost earned his PhD in economics at the University of Florida. In addition
to his professorship at GW, he has held visiting professor positions at
the University of Florida and the University of South Carolina. He is
an econometrician and microeconomist specializing in energy, labor, and
defense economics. He tests theoretical models and develops forecasting
models. Bob is also an avid runner and has run over 50 marathons.
