Faculty Profile
Ana Fostel earned a PhD in Economics from Yale University. Her
research interests are on economic theory and international finance. In
particular, her research has focused on the application of general
equilibrium models with incomplete markets to study the access of
emerging countries to international financial markets, sovereign debt
and default. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in
International Financial Markets and Open Economy Macroeconomics.
