Faculty Profile

CiprianiMarco Cipriani earned a BS in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan, an M.Sc. in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics and a PhD in Economics from New York University. Before starting graduate school, he worked in the currency research department of JP Morgan in London.

His research interests focus on the microstructure of financial markets, with emphasis on the role of private information in explaining herd behavior, financial crises and contagion. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in International Financial Markets and Open Economy Macroeconomics.
