How Your Gift Matters
This year the University strives to strengthen the academic and co-curricular opportunities available to your student through parent support.
Gifts to support individual schools and departments allow the deans to enhance the educational experience. With financial discretion, they can increase staffing in language labs, purchase equipment for science labs, initiate new academic programs, and more.
GW supports over 300 student organizations and programs that play a vital role in enhancing the student educational experience. Your gifts help fund areas that focus on career development, mental/physical health and nutrition, leadership, and tolerance. GW encourages students to get involved in such programming and take advantage of these opportunities that will help your student to become a citizen prepared for life after college.
Gifts to support scholarships will help the more than 60 percent of GW students who receive some form of financial aid from the University. These awards serve the whole community by allowing GW to recruit and retain a diverse student body.
