Exam 1 will be on Monday February 13. It will cover from the the beginning of the course through the origin of eukaryotes

Extra office hours will be Sunday from 3-4:30 in Lisner 420.
The exam format is:
One 15 point discussion question
20 points of matching (this should be straightforward definitions)
45 points of multiple choice questions
20 points of matching characters to a phylogenetic tree
