The College of Professional Studies, in partnership with the Center for Excellence in Public Leadership at GW, is offering a Master of Professional Studies degree in Security and Safety Leadership concentration (SSL). This part-time program is designed to meet the professional development needs of individuals who are involved in the public safety sector and have experience in law enforcement, emergency management, corporate security, transportation security, fire service, public safety, public health preparedness, or the military.

For those students who wish to enhance their skills in a specific area of security and safety leadership, we offer the option of applying to one of the following Graduate Certificates. After successful completion of one of the Graduate Certificates, students will have the opportunity to apply for admission to the Master’s degree program if they so choose.
