His scholarly interests are family communication, persuasion, and philosophies of learning. Warren also assists the Office of the Assistant Secretary Defense in its process of military education review, and provides Witness Training Programs to senior-level executives across North America. The range and depth of his background is evident in his multidisciplinary approach to teaching.
