Overseas Learning Collaboration
The Center's Overseas Learning Collaboration (OLC) Program with Moi University School of Public Health in Eldoret, Kenya and the James P. Grant School of Public Health of BRAC University in Dhaka, Bangladesh provides a unique opportunity for first year Global Health MPH students to spend one semester taking GWU Global Health courses with one of our collaborating schools of public health overseas. The program aims to bring additional relevance to global public health education and allow students to build their overseas public health experience in a structured environment. Students will have the chance to gain cultural competency, learn how to work and interact in a global setting, and serve the community in which they live—while completing required Global Health MPH coursework. Approximately ten students will spend their second semester studying at each of the collaborating institutions. LEARN MORE
