TIMOTHY TRANCHILLA
Mr. Timothy Tranchilla serves as the Administrative Support Manager to the Department of Global Health and GW Center for Global Health at George Washington University. Previously, he worked in national disaster relief at the American Red Cross, serving in the Staff Services division. He also provided operational support to six international field offices on a workplace-based HIV/AIDS prevention program at the Academy for Educational Development. He studied Egyptian history and culture in Cairo, Egypt, and reconciliation and development in Durban, South Africa. He currently volunteers with the Disaster Action Team of the National Capital Area at the American Red Cross, and has developed materials on methamphetamine use in the GLBT community for the volunteer orientation program of the Whitman-Walker clinic. Mr. Tranchilla has a BA in International Studies from Boston College.
