PAULINE MUHUHU, MS, RN

Professor Muhuhu is a health professional with 36 years experience in healthcare delivery and health human resources development. She worked with the Ministry of Health in Kenya for ten years. She led a district nursing team in the piloting and up-scaling of the Integrated Rural Health Program. While in Kenya she lectured at the University of Nairobi in the Department of Advanced Nursing and worked on curriculum development for Mental Health, Psychiatric Nursing, and Community Health.

Professor Muhuhu worked with the Program for International Training in Health (INTRAH) for 22 years. She started has a Regional Trainer and became a Regional Director.  She led a team of staff located in five countries and consultants in the development and implementation of health projects in Eastern and Southern Africa. She has provided training and technical assistance in 17 countries through out the world. She has written and published a variety of research and other works on the topic of training and reproductive health.
