JERROLD MICHAEL, MPH, PhD
Dr. Michael has had a long and illustrious career in public health. He is Emeritus Dean and Professor of Public Health for the University of Hawaii, School of Public Health. Among his professional experience he has served as the Assistant Surgeon General, Chief of Staff of the Division of Indian Health, Director of Environmental Health for the City of Phoenix Arizona, and a Sewage Works Engineer for Washington DC. He has received numerous awards over the years for excellence in his service and outstanding performance.
Dr. Michael has been the editor of five public health journals, including the Journal of Environmental Health. Dr. Michael’s has published a multitude of projects and research papers, predominantly focusing on environmental health. He currently serves on the Dr. PH defense board and has taught Global Health Program Design and Evaluation.
