MYRIAM GERSENOVIC, MPH, MD
Before coming to GWU SPHHS, Dr. Gersenovic was a Regional Advisor on Health Systems and Services for PAHO/WHO. Her principle accomplishments included development of techniques for surveillance and control of negative outcomes in eleven countries, the design, coordination, and evaluation of multi-centric research projects on impact of specific methods and techniques for health projects and services effectiveness. She developed programs for increasing the impact of Health Care delivery in Social Security Systems of five Latin American countries. She also contributed to the development and implementation of programs and tools that improved the effectiveness of health Care at the Ministries of Health in four Latin American countries.
