Dr. Neely Myers is a medical anthropologist with expertise in global mental health. She is teaching two courses on medical anthropology for the Department of Anthropology.

Current research includes global public health particularly in the Horn of Africa. Dr. Lauren Carruth is also Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, in their Global Health and Health Policy Program.

Current research examines environmental development projects in Haiti and specifically how these projects change land, labor, and grassroots organizations in unforeseen ways.

Visiting Scholars

Tashi Rabgey (Fall 2012)
Ph.D. Harvard, LL.M. Cambridge, M.A. Juris Oxford

Current research interests include legal pluralism; theories of recognition, autonomy and governance; and the politics of minority policy and multiculturalism in the People's Republic of China. Dr. Rabgey is currently a Fellow in the Public Intellectuals Program of the National Committee on US-China Relations.
