application process involves several steps, and can sometimes be confusing.
In order to apply to the program, please provide the following information:
For a Certificate in Job Development and Placement:
- Two confidential letters of
recommendation
- One from a former
professor
- One from a
professional supervisor
- Official transcripts from all
the schools you have attended (both undergraduate and graduate)
- A copy of your resume
- A signed Statement of
Understanding (included in application packet)
- Two copies of your Statement
of Purpose (250 - 500 words).
- A completed GWU application
- Application fee - check or
money order for $60.00
- Submit all application

For a Masters of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling:
- Two confidential letters of
recommendation
- One from a former
professor
- One from a
professional supervisor

- An official GRE or MAT report
- A copy of your resume
- A signed Statement of
Understanding (included in application packet)
- Two copies of your Statement
of Purpose (250 - 500 words).

For a Doctorate of Philosophy in Counseling with an emphasis in
Rehabilitation Leadership:

Understanding

of purpose (between 750-1200 words)
