Introduction to Senior Executive Development Program
The Senior Executive Development (SED) program prepares candidates for the Senior Executive Service (SES). This 80-hour open-enrollment program is designed around the Office of Personnel Management Executive Core Qualifications (training requirements). Since its inception in 1982, the SED has served thousands of managers and executives from more than 80 government agencies and departments.

The Senior Executive Development program is designed for senior managers in the federal government (GS-13 through SES level), military officers, and state and local officials.
