Admission Semesters: Fall and Spring admission is offered for all concentrations. Summer admission is also offered for the concentrations in High-Technology Crime Investigation and Security Management.

Please note: the Fall deadline for international students requiring a student visa is January 15, regardless of degree program. The Spring deadline is September 1.

The Master of Forensic Sciences (MFS) programs provide an understanding of the integration of forensic science disciplines with the investigation of criminal activity, along with an overview of analytical methods, procedures, equipment, and data used by forensic specialists.

The MFS programs are offered with the following concentrations: Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic Chemistry, Forensic Toxicology, Forensic Molecular Biology, High-Technology Crime Investigation, and Security Management.

The concentrations in High-Technology Crime Investigation and Security Management are offered at the Arlington, VA campus. All other concentrations are offered on the Mt. Vernon campus.

A graduate certificate program is also offered in Forensic Investigations. Admission to this program requires five years experience as a forensic investigator.
