New Addresses for Residential and Academic Sides of 1957 E Street

Effective May 30, the residence hall and the academic building at 1957 E St., split into two addresses. The academic side of the building that houses the Elliott School of International Affairs, the Geography Department, Executive Education Program, and other classrooms, remains “1957 E St.,” while the residence hall became “1959 E St. ”

“The addition of separate addresses enhances customer service on many levels,” said Nancy Haaga, director for auxiliary and institutional services. “It will help GW mail services with mail sorting; mail and package deliveries will be made more quickly, accurately, and efficiently; and it will reduce confusion for visitors, staff, and students. It will make everything much more clear.”
