October 2005 GW’s Jordan Connection His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan met with 80 US rabbis to discuss interfaith issues at the Ritz Carlton in Washington, DC, Sept. 21. The event, part of a series of talks by King Abdullah in the US about interfaith issues, was organized by GW Professor Robert Eisen, right, and Joseph Lumbard a former student who serves as special assistant to King Abdullah on interfaith affairs.
