Colonial Confessions: What fun Web sites do you visit?

John Ralls, senior adviser for communications and outreach, Office of the Executive Vice President and Treasurer:
I’m a big fan of someecards.com. It has funny, snarky e-mail cards for every occasion, like the following: “Congratulations on not paying taxes this year due to appalling housing decisions last year.”

Samantha McGovern, project coordinator, Office of Planning and Environmental Management:
I like starbucksgossip.com. It gives you news on new coffee drinks that are coming out, current gossip about Starbucks layoffs, and comments posted by staff members on what’s good and what’s not.

Vince O’Neill, research assistant, Graduate School of Education and Human Development:
Check out failblog.org! There are hundreds of funny pictures and videos of things gone wrong. A few current headlines are Car Pool Fail, Child Transportation Fail, and Recycling Fail.

Marly Reed, research assistant, Graduate School of Education and Human Development:
I recommend washcycle.typepad.com/ map.html. It shows area bicycle trails superimposed on a map of D.C. You can click on the links, and it gives you information such as length of the trail and the terrain.
