Flu Shot Clinic Cancelled Due to Shortage

The vaccine shortage resulting from the suspension of a major British flu vaccine producer earlier this month has forced GW Medical Center to cancel its free community flu shot clinic originally scheduled for Oct. 29. As the United States is forced to deal with only half the usual supply of vaccine this flu season, GW Medical Center has been forced to cancel the free clinic as usable doses get rationed for at-risk populations and the healthcare workers who treat them.
