Awards: 2003 Faculty Pioneer Award, Beyond Grey Pinstripes; 1998 Junior Faculty Award of Excellence; 1997 Bank One Assistant Professor, University of Michigan. Winner of Three Outstanding National Conference Proceedings Awards for the Academy of Legal Studies of Business. Winner of Three Distinguished National Conference Proceeding Awards for the Academy of Legal Studies of Business. Hoeber Award for Research Excellence, Academy of Legal Studies in Business. Holmes-Cardozo Paper Award, Academy of Legal Studies in Business. Best Paper Award, Society for Business Ethics.

Current Research: How ethical business behavior can contribute to the reduction of violence in the world; optimal organizational structures to foster affective ethical sentiments in business, the role of religion in business ethics, issues in the commercialization of science and technology.
