ICR Wide Activities

ICR-wide initiatives draw on and integrate the expertise of its four program areas ( Peace through Commerce; Environmental Sustainability; Corporate Stakeholder Strategies; Corporate Governance) to develop scholarly and educational programs and activities. The initiatives are led by John Forrer, Coordinator, Institute for Corporate Responsibility.

The GW Summer Program on Corporate Responsibility is being developed by the School of Business Institute for Corporate Responsibility. It is intended to prepare participants to address issues of Corporate Responsibility from the perspectives of policy, management, strategy and law and to contribute to the shaping of corporate and society relationships in their homelands and around the world.

The ICR Washington Policy Forum convenes practioners to meet with academic, government and corporate experts on corporate responsibility policies, examine and better understand different policy perspectives on current corporate responsibility issues, and to contribute to the debate on public policy approaches in the U.S. and globally.

Global Governance of Corporate Responsibility Project investigates the global sources, content and implications of policies addressing corporate responsibility, the efficacy of different approaches, and prospects of an emerging “global policy approach” to corporate responsibility.
