Ideal Bite (www.idealbite.com) offers bite-sized ideas for light green living. Easy eco-living tips are presented in a short, sassy and free email each weekday. From organic wine to eco-friendly fashion, the Daily Tips provide level-headed advice for people who want to do the right thing without giving up creature comforts. The mission is to create a more sustainable world by connecting enlightened companies with Ideal Bite's 150,000+ subscribers who want to vote with their dollars by making small changes that add up. Far from eco-perfect themselves, the editors candidly share their humorous trials and tribulations in the blog. The secret sauce is a spoonful of “incremental environmentalism” with a keeping-it-real attitude... a perfect mix that empowers subscribers to align their values with everyday decisions.

Tricia Chirumbole, MBA ‘07
Founder & CEO, Investors Without Borders

Investors Without Borders (www.investorswithoutborders.net) is a private sector, social enterprise designed to fill a key gap in the financial markets of developing countries known as the missing middle. The missing middle consists of small to medium-sized enterprises that are too large for microfinance, but too small to attract the attention of large financial institutions and multi-national corporations. By partnering a local presence with a dynamic, web-based platform, Investors Without Borders (IWB) will remove barriers of access, information, and intermediation for would-be investors across the globe. Individuals will be able to directly fund loan requests of SMEs in developing markets, beginning with firms in Ghana, with online investments as small as $100.
