9. I have forgotten my GWeb Information System
PIN. How can I retrieve my PIN?
Go to the GWeb Information System log in page and click the "Don't
Know Your PIN?" link. Follow the instructions carefully. There
are two ways to retrieve your PIN without having to pick up the telephone.
Note: To avoid this problem in the future, set up a security question
and answer that you can easily remember. The answer is case-sensitive.
Don't get in the trap of forgetting your PIN at a crucial moment (e.g.,
during registration or grade entry time). Log in to the GWeb Information
System periodically. This will help you remember your PIN and prevent
your account from being locked.

10. How should I set up my passwords for Banner
and UNIX?
Your passwords should be at least 8 characters. You should use a mixture
of numbers, characters (except for $), and letters. The password should
be something only you know. Never share passwords with other users,
and never write down your passwords. [top]
11. Are my passwords case-sensitive?
In UNIX, passwords are case-sensitive. They are not case-sensitive
in Banner. [top]
12. How do I change my password in Banner?
In Banner, change your password on the form GUAPSWD. You must
be in the PROD database. See this document
