Banner is the University's enterprise administrative software application for student, alumni, financial aid, and human resources data and related processes.

Most faculty members will use the GWeb Information System to gain web-based access to the Banner database. As a faculty member, you can use the system to:

Enter final grades
Run detailed or summary class lists
Access your schedule and general information about your classes
Look up your students' addresses and telephone numbers

Need a PIN?

You will need a PIN to access the GWeb Information System. PIN information should have been provided during your orientation. If you have not received a PIN, please call Banner Security at 202-994-0567. If you have forgotten your PIN, you can retrieve it using the PIN fetcher on myGW at https://my.gwu.edu/pin/pin.cfm. You will need your GWid, NET ID and password.
