New Dean, Department Chair, & Program Director Orientation
Each year, the Office of Academic Operations conducts an orientation for faculty members who will be assuming the responsibilities of dean, department chair, and program director. This orientation provides information about critical policies and procedures and introduces new academic leaders to key administrative personnel from around the University.
This year, Orientation will be held: Wednesday, August 19, 2009 to Thursday, August 20, 2009, 8:30am-4:30pm at the Mt. Vernon campus in Post Hall.
Announcements regarding the orientation will be sent to all new deans, department chairs, and program directors. Specific questions regarding the orientation may be directed to the Office of Academic Operations at 202-994-4950 or avpap@gwu.edu.
