About Us
The Office of Academic Operations is housed in Phillips 412 and oversees several projects and offices integral to the academic mission of the University. Among these offices are Academic Integrity, the Office of University Students, the Office of the Registrar, and Academic Technologies.
The office's many annual projects include the coordination of the Trachtenberg Teaching Award, the Bender Teaching Awards, and the Distinguished Alumni Scholar Award. The office also organizes and hosts the Orientation for Faculty New to GW and the Orientation for New Deans, Department Chairs, & Program Directors each August.
