ASI Book Reviews For more than 10 years, ASI's "Book Notes" section served as a forum for the scholarly review of new books in American Studies, with special focus on the interests and perspectives of Americanists outside the United States. Between 1990 and 2004 ASI published reviews of more than 800 books. With the June/October 2004 double issue (42.2&3), ASI has ceased production at George Washington University.
