ASI regularly includes advertisements for organizations, institutions,
and commercial agencies related to the practice of American Studies.
Our advertisers include the American Studies Association, Modern
Language Association, the Georgetown University Crossroads Project,
and a variety of publishers, booksellers, and conference organizers.
ASI is especially dedicated to reviewing and promoting exceptional
but lesser-known texts in American Studies, bringing attention to
the scholarly contributions of authors and publishers around the
world. Every issue of ASI includes a substantial Book Review section,
for which the editors always welcome contributions and comments.
ASI is dependent on subscriptions and advertising to meet expenses.

Specifications:
Our format is a 6”x 9” black and white page. We can accept camera
ready copy, negatives, diskettes with graphic files (TIFF), or word
processing files (MS Word preferred). We prefer to receive materials
in both electronic and conventional forms so we have a back-up in
case there is a problem with one medium. We can accept Pagemaker
files also, but cannot accept Quark files. We also prefer materials
on an IBM/PC disk format.
