Dr. Pask received his M.A. in Natural Sciences at Cambridge in 1952, and his Ph.D. in Psychology from London University in 1964. He founded System Research Ltd. in Richmond, Surrey, England, an insitute devoted to the study of adaptive teaching machines and self-organized learning systems. He has held a number of positions including Research Director of System Research Ltd.; Professor in the Institute of Cybernetics, Brunel University; Associate Professor: University of Illinois, University of Mexico, Georgia Instute of Technology, University of Oregon, and Open University. He has also served as Consultant, Solartron Electron Ltd.; and Member of Editorial Board, International Journal of Man-Machine Studies.
