Tally received her Masters in Art Therapy from the George Washington University (1981) and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland (1986). She maintains a private practice in Art Therapy and Psychotherapy in Washington DC and Alexandria VA. She was partner and clinical supervisor in a group practice, Counseling & Psychotherapy Services of Washington, for over ten years. Tally has been on the faculty of the Art Therapy department at GW since 1992. She has received advanced training in Group Psychotherapy, Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, Supervision, EMDR and Hypnosis. Her clinical interests include working with survivors of abuse and trauma, treating anxiety and eating disorders, and enhancing performance and creativity. Tally's teaching responsibilities include Psychopathology, Group Therapy, Culminating Project and Supervision at GW.
