Paula Howie was the Director of the Activities Therapies Department at Walter Reed Hospital for 25 years and has taught at GW since 1985. She has been active in the American Art Therapy Association, and currently holds the office of President. She has also held the offices as Secretary, Clinical Chair; has served on the Governmental Affairs committee and is Chair of the Relocation Task force.
