Dr. Talebi is a primatologist with a research focus on the behavioral biology and applied conservation research of New World monkeys.

Research

Dr. Talebi's recent work has been on food choice and foraging behavior among the southern muriqui or woolly spider monkey, Brachyteles arachnoides, in the last large remnant of Brazilian Atlantic Forest, the Carlos Botelho State Park, and that species' food competition with other mammals.
