Dr. Ross is a development anthropologist interested in environment and population issues, public health and epidemiology, and gender.

Research

Topics of Dr. Ross's wide-ranging research have included health and warfare among Jívaro Indians in the Peruvian Amazon, the political ecology of Britain's Celtic fringe, and the fate of peasants in the making of the modern world.
