The "How Do I Become A..." lecture series is designed to expose the University community to various careers by bringing distinguished alumni back to GW. The program is sponsored by the GW Alumni Association, Career Center, and Class Council.

These events are FREE and open to students, alumni, and the GW community.

How Do I Become A Professional Political Junkie?
Featuring Reid Wilson, CCAS BA '05

Join fellow students and alumni for an evening with Reid Wilson, editor-in-chief of the National Journal Hotline, Washington's premier daily tip sheet on campaigns and elections. He regularly appears on MSNBC, CNN and C-SPAN and is a political contributor to Sirius-XM Radio. As the nation is in full campaign mode, come learn about Reid's GW experience and how he got into the world of political journalism. 

How Do I Become A White House Administrator?

Join fellow students and alumni for an evening Brook Colangelo, the chief information officer in the Executive Office of the President in the White House Administration. Mr. Colangelo manages the unclassified enterprise technology that supports the White House and President of the United States. Come and learn about his experience at GW, the road to his career in information technology and his experience working in the White House.

Brian Sereno, executive director for GW 's athletics communications, shared advice with students and young alumni about his experience in the sports media industry, including his previous role as communications strategist for the Washington Wizards.
