ALUMNI IN THE ARTS
Washington, D.C. is endowed with many renowned cultural centers such as the Smithsonian Institution and the Kennedy Center.
Each year, hundreds of GW undergraduate and graduate students major in arts-related fields – from music to museum studies, from interior design to theatre – and take advantage of all that the University and the city have to offer.
This month, we feature profiles of eight Colonials working in the arts world and link to the Web sites of many more "alumni in the arts."

Edward Barrientos, GWSB MBA '90, is currently the interim CEO of Brazen Careerist. The site is a career management tool for next-generation professionals.
Thomas C. Bogle, CCAS BA '98, has accepted an invitation to join the partnership at Dechert LLP. Bogle is a member of the financial services group and is resident in the firm's Washington office.
Zach Cutler, GWSB BBA '09, launched his own marketing consulting firm based in DC. The Cutler Group, a full service marketing firm, provides branding, public relations, and business development services.
Tom Goudreau, GWSB MBA '93, is now Director of Business Development within Lockheed Martin IS&GS's Global business unit.
Harvey S. Jacobs, Esq., GWSB BBA '80, recently announced that after more than 20 years of managing his own law firm, Jacobs & Associates, Attorneys At Law, LLC, his firm has merged into the law firm of Joseph, Greenwald & Laake, P.A. "JGL".
Elana Meyers, SPHHS BS '06, made the World Cup team for women's bobsledding and is currently training to be on the Olympic Team for the January 2010 Winter Olympics.
Christopher L. Myers, CCAS BA '84, has published a new book entitled Taylor's Way: A Father's Very Special Relationship with His Son.
