Celebrate the MBA Reunion – Sept. 25-28


GWSB will host the 2nd annual MBA Alumni Reunion in conjunction with the university-wide Alumni Weekend. The MBA Reunion will honor those alumni who graduated in the years 2003, 1998, and 1983. All alumni and guests are invited to participate in the social and educational activities planned as part of the MBA Reunion. 

The MBA Reunion will feature a variety of events designed for graduates of the MBA Program, including:

  • The 2nd Annual Ramsey Student Investment Fund Conference. The discussion will focus on Commodities and Sovereign Wealth and will feature a keynote address from author Steve LeVine (BusinessWeek, Putin’s Labyrinth, The Oil and the Glory: The Pursuit of Empire and Fortune on the Caspian Sea).
  • Breakfast with Associate Dean of Graduate Programs Murat Tarimcilar, who will discuss the new Global MBA Program.
  • Sustainability and Climate Change panel hosted by Mark Starik, chairman and professor of strategic management and public policy, and including alumni experts Brian Gurr, GWSB MBA ’03, and Rachel Goldstein, GWSB MBA ’03. The panel will be followed by a Professor’s Circle where Professor Lisa Delpy Neirotti will describe the experience of taking students to the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
  • Celebration to toast the new Duquès Hall donor wall followed by a cocktail reception for MBA Alumni hosted by Dean Phillips.
