GRADUATE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT OFFERS SIX NEW ONLINE GRADUATE CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS IN EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP
Program Disciplines Range from Instructional Design to E-Learning
The GW Graduate School of Education and Human Development's Department of Educational Leadership recently announced the creation of six new distance certificate programs that alumni can take advantage of. The new areas of study will be offered online beginning in the fall of 2008.
As part of the school's educational technology leadership program, the certificate areas will include e-Learning, designed for students who want to enter the world of distance education; instructional design, focusing on the application of educational technology in the classroom setting; integrating technology into education, concentrating on the curricular impact of technology in education; leadership in educational technology, created to integrate professionals into leadership in an educational technology environment; multimedia development, preparing students for the creation and use of multimedia materials in various educational settings; and training and educational technology, training students to be able to develop instructional procedures for the use of technology in their institutions.
