Gender and the Presidential Primary: A Panel Discussion
Join us for the first panel in the nation discussing the Clinton primary campaign featuring major players in that campaign:
Ann Lewis, senior advisor to Hillary Clinton and founder of Women for Hillary; Jehmu Greene, founder of Rock the Vote; Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones; Paul Begala, CNN correspondent; Allida Black, PhD, Advisor to Women for Hillary and director of The Eleanor Roosevelt Papers Project at GW; and Sean Willenz of Princeton University.
There will be two panels, one consisting of campaign staff and Clinton surrogates, the other consisting of political historians placing the Clinton campaign in the social and political context of presidential politics since 1960. This is a non-partisan event, focusing on the challenges the first serious woman contender faced as she continued to challenge convention. -
Sustainability and Climate Change Panel Discussion
A panel featuring Mark Starik, professor of strategic management & public policy, and GW alumni Brian Gurr, GWSB MBA '03, and Rachel Goldstein, GWSB MBA '03. -
